About
At Huntly Baptist Church, Missions are a very important part of our ministry. We feel and know from experience that if we take care of our community, God will provide and take care of us. Huntly has committed to spend 15% of our annual revenue to put toward missions, using it as our tithe. With that 15%, we are able to bless several ministries.
He Reigns Rescue Ranch
At He Reigns Rescue Ranch, their mission is to reach children who have experienced brokenness—whether through neglect, abuse, trauma, family dysfunction, or anxiety—and to show them that there is hope, healing, and truth and love through Jesus Christ. Each child is paired with a mentor and a horse. Through grooming, handling, and riding, they not only learn horsemanship but also engage in meaningful conversationsabout the truths of Jesus. These hands-on experiences, grounded in faith, provide a powerful platform for emotional and spiritual growth. Light ranch work further instillsresponsibility, teamwork, and a sense of purpose and belonging. Our horses—many of whom have experienced brokenness in their past—serve as relatable, healingcompanions to the children. The bond between child, mentor, and horse is truly transformative. Many who come to He Reigns Rescue Ranch leave with new confidence, a sense of accomplishment, and the deep assurance that they are cared for and never alone.
